Our team at BOND partnered with National Geographic to bring their new series, Photographer, to social. Our branded content offered a behind-the-lens look at six renowned photographers across fields from nature conservancy to high fashion while translating Nat Geo's legendary brand storytelling into a premium, audience-first digital experience.
We tapped Paul Nicklen and six other industry icons to spark the #NGPhotographerChallenge, inviting the world to share their unique view. The result? Thousands of fan submissions and a direct path to the spotlight for top emerging talent within Nat Geo's Your Shot community.
For Nat Geo's Arctic Ascent with Alex Honnold, we gripped audiences far and wide to push the branded series to new heights on social following Alex's next journey beyond Free Solo. Our creative immersed fans into feeling the cinematic climb up Ingmikortilaq, one of the world's tallest rock walls, with every edit, animation and design choice leaning into ascending movement across vertical mobile screens.
Every creative asset vertically pushed upwards or across a journey of content to explore. We led with big cinematic shots, seamlessly stitched across panels with ambient animations to immerse the viewer into the perspective of the climb.
A first of its kind TikTok carousel pivoted fan's POV into widescreen cinematic mode, rotating their phones to take a virtual climb up the mountain across 33 seamlessly stitched image panels set to the ambient music from the series.
Our Greenland Grids content series explored an animated mosaic tile pattern to introduce unique perspectives of the climb, highlighting the epic Nat Geo brand content featuring Alex Honnold and his team as they ascended Ingmikortilaq.
